We chose this cruise as we were hoping to have a better cruise experience by going up a catagory. Did it live up to its hype. Not really. We were kept from our stateroom for hours as they said that they were deep cleaning the rooms due to the gastro virus. So when we finally were able to access our stateroom, it was dirty, dusty and the bathroom still had used shampoo bottles in the tub....deep cleaning, not so sure. The remote for the tv looked like one from Motel 6., we put it in a plastic bag for the remainder of the cruise Not a great first experience on Oceania Cruises.

I was interested to read the review from Neil b, as he mentioned the captain and many officers on board. Truthfully, we never saw an officer, and the Captain only once in the main dining room.

. This ship had the least presence of officers that I have ever encountered on 20 plus sailings.
