NCL Escape Nov19-Nov 26Th, 2016
We were a family of 15, with 6 first timers on a cruise. Everybody was excited which was short lived when one of our family member was denied entry to board the ship because of missing travel documents. Other than that the embarkation process was smooth and easy. We had booked 7 balcony cabins in total with six 2 member cabins and one 3-member cabin. Once we boarded the ship we realized the 3-member balcony cabin was the same as the 2-member balcony cabin but they had charged us extra. The cabin had 2 separate beds, so we had to run down to guest services to get this sorted out. The staff at guest services was very incompetent and after much deliberation he resolved the issue by combining the beds together and making sofa bed for the third person. There was nothing extra in the cabin to justify the additional charge for a six-year-old, not even a 3rd towel which we had to request. Housekeeping crew were friendly and prompt in upkeep of the cabins.
Entertainment: They had some great shows, but it was frustrating to learn that most of the shows were sold out. I had to stand in a long line to get on one of shows after much negotiation with the Box office staff, we managed to watch the Broadway show After Midnight.
Cabin was excellent, always well kept, clean and fresh.
We went to Cane beach and enjoyed our day there.
Cabbage beach was crowded.
