Planned this cruise with a group, totaling four cabins. We all booked on the lowest deck to accommodate a few on a tight budget. The day before we went to Mobile, three of the four cabins were called to offer upgrades at a very minimal charge. Of course, I had to be part of the one NOT offered the upgrade. Telephone didn't work in our cabin, steward was rude, elevators were horrible with lengthy waits and too crowded most of the time, making us have to wait for another elevator. Bathroom was in awful condition. Food was edible, but nothing to look forward to. FTTF was a joke. Others who didn't purchase FTTF reached cabins sooner than us, with all luggage at their luggage at their cabin. Some of ours didn't reach the cabin for another six hours. Entertainment was awful, practically nonexistent. Ports were okay, but we didn't spend extra $$ on excursions since most of them didn't get have good reviews. I know we'll NEVER leave from Mobile and, hopefully, never Carnival. We want to cruise more but will look into other cruise lines

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Bathroom was in dire need of repairs, with only one problem addressed after two days. Temperature in cabin was uncontrollable. Telephone didn't work and was never repaired. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

Port Reviews

Progreso

Water was nasty. Shopping was trashy.

Cozumel

Shopping was interesting, but the same thing on every corner. Water was beautiful, but no beach excursion was available that we could all take, and they were all very expensive for only a few hours on a beach.
