Customer service was completely non-existent. Crew did not interact at all with guests and would just assume run you over with their cart than say hi. First time I have ever not paid the gratuities on any ship. Heard several experienced NCL guests say the other ships actually had customer service and for some reason the Epic was simply horrible. Took a group of 44 and I think each one had difficulty with crew on several occasions. Stay away!!! Tender ports are a 3-4 hour wait,,,its like no one on the ship has ever sailed before. Customer services idea is to tell you that you have to take care of it when you return.

Freestyle is not so freestyle, you have to have reservations for everything, including shows, but not for Buffet!! Reservations fill up before you even leave port from what I was told by the reservation person. There are cancellations, but you have to go wait around the restaurant to see when and if you can get in - but don't hold out hope,,,even if there is a lot of open tables, they will most likely tell you "sorry, but we don't have any openings". Honestly, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced on any cruise. There is a systemic problem with this ship and I would recommend staying away until they fix it. On a good note, the itinerary was AWESOME!

Ok, but smaller than most balconies. Not a big fan overall.
