Cruise for Thanksgiving on Oasis, again. Love the ship, even at 7 yrs. old, she still wows! (Dry dock refit in 2014.) Cruise was sold out: 6,300 passengers, 2000+ crew. Not a problem with a ship this big. Plenty to keep you occupied and never really felt crowed. Ok, maybe once or twice we were crammed into one of the 24 elevators with old people on scooters. 16 decks, so the elevator ride doesn't last too long. (DON'T USE ELEVATOR FOR JUST 1 FLOOR.)

Great shows: Ice Show, Headliner Show, and "Come Fly With Me" a singing Cirque du Soleil style show in the big theater. Not a big fan of the Broadway show Cats or the foul mouthed comedy show. In fairness, both were as advertised. Just not our thing.

BIG NEGATIVE: "My Time Dining". Didn't like it, will never let Royal push me into My Time again. Under My Time we still had reservations each night for 6:30 or 6pm booked online months in advance, but in their effort to expedite dinner, My Time Dining turns what used to be a real dining experience into just another dinner at any common restaurant. In 7 nights, we had 7 different tables served by different staff each night. On 3 of the nights we were escorted up one or two decks to a table that was already occupied. (But we had a reservation!) We stood by awkwardly while the waiter scrambled to find another table. Felt rushed each night and never connected with the staff. Food was good, but inconsistent service each night. Insist on 1st seating (5:30) or 2nd (8:30pm) if you want the full dinning experience! Otherwise, just eat at the buffet in the Windjammer

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C1

Central Park balcony cabin on deck 10 was beautiful. Able to sit and people watch and relax listening to the piano and violin musicians at night. Don't worry, there are plenty of other styles of music and clubs on board to fit your taste.

Port Reviews

Labadee

This is their private island. Great place to hit the beach and relax.

Falmouth

Just walked around the shops at the port. Everything is fairly new and clean. You have to take a shuttle or cab to do anything else.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Nothing to do at this port without taking transportation to somewhere. Port is located an Industrial area.

Cozumel

Unless you want to stop at every shop, learn to just ignore everyone begging you to stop in their store.
