Intro Following is a rather long review of our recent cruise on the NCL Jewel from May 10-22, 2009.  We sailed from Dover, UK and visited the following ports:  Copenhagen, Warnemunde (Berlin), Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, and Stockholm.

Background

We are a married couple in the 35-44 age group demographic.  This is our 6th cruise.    We have previously sailed twice with Princess, once with Celebrity, and this is our third with NCL in the last 12 months.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Pros:  Adequate space for clothes, well laid out, adequate seating area, great mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities (kettle)Cons:  Dim lighting, beds that sagged too much, thin walls, stench of sewer coming from toilet
