My husband always wanted to go to the South Seas, but I was reluctant to be on such a long trip. However, I enjoyed it all very much, even the 14 days at sea. The embarkation and disembarkation were the smoothest of the eight cruises we've taken. Princess really takes care of you, and the crew were all friendly and at ease.

We took Princess excursions on each island except Honolulu and Maui where we had been before. The native guides were interesting and the buses ranged from quaint to modern. We were taken to mountains, sea coasts, villages, native markets, historic buildings, WWII sites etc. Besides Kauai, and Hilo, we toured Bora Bora, Moorea, Pago Pago, and Tahiti.

We each enjoyed the lectures given on sea days. Besides information about the ports, we heard about espionage in the Cold War, History of WW II, even pictures of Route 66 with music of its eras.

Cabin OW

We had a nice view, even though it was a 1/3 obstructed by a life raft. It was fine.
