We chose this cruise mostly for the itinerary. Ports were good. For some reason it took more than an hour to get back on the ship in San Juan, as they only had one gangway open and very little crew working at the gangway. Had some issues with the hot tubs. Some mornings too cold, some mornings hot enough to scald the skin. Bliss Lounge was kept so cold that a few times we left due to the cold. We asked at guest services and they said there was no way to control the air conditioning. Food - They have Americanized the menu to the point there was very little variety. Larger portions do not improve the quality or taste of the food. We would rate the overall food in the MDR and buffet as poor. Much of the food was tasteless (ex. bacon, chicken) Foods were so mildly spiced there was little or no flavour. Food in the Bamboo was excellant. Food in La Cucina was excellent as well. We were extremely disappointed in Le Bistro, where we had the worst meal of our cruise. I would rate Le Bistro as terrible. The french onion soup was mediocre and the Coq au Vin was horrible as my chicken was swimming in grease. Even the plating was bad.

Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window
Cabin OB 5608
Two power failures. Power restored quite quickly. Toilet not working properly. Many chips out of the sill below the window. The cabin was clean and our steward took very good care of us and the cabin.
