My wife & I are in our late fifties. We have sailed 20 cruises on Norwegian , Royal Caribbean , Carnival & Celebrity. We did do Celebrity about 10 years ago. We thought we would try Celebrity again which is known for their excellent dinning experience. First , let me say staff & Captain Kate were the most friendly people I have ever experienced on a cruise ship.The entertainment was OK , but needs inprovement. We took two excursions in Martinque & Dominica. We took city tour in Martinque & was good . We also took Tangular falls in Dominica & was also good. The ship is dated , but still in pretty good shape. We had a balcony cabin on 6th floor aft. which was lovely. No problem there !!!!! We had Concierge Class1 They were suppose to have Welcome Wine in room & Hors d'oeuvres every evening. We had to request wine because it wasn't in room like described in brochure to welcome us. LOL The Hors d'oeuvres were BAD !!!! Something you would feed a bird. Stale bread & a dollop of cheese & peanuts. What a JOKE !!!!!! Now lets talk about the food. The food in MDR was absolutely HORRIBLE !!!!! Looks like they have scaled down the menu a lot !!!!!! The selections weren't good at all. The CHIC night as they call it now instead of formal night where they serve you Lobster. The Lobster was very under-cooked & slimy !!!!! I was really looking forward to it until I saw it on my plate. Disappointed !!!!!! The deserts weren't that good either & you could get a better selection in buffet. The food selection in buffet was repetitive. Same crap every every day , but deserts were good. Folks , let me tell you Carnival offers you a better menu in MDR & is cheaper. OUTRAGEOUS !!!!! I think most cruise ships are all about profit & don't care about patrons. They make the food in MDR so bad & force you to eat in their specialty restaurants. Soooooo SAD !!!!!!!! We even tried Royal Caribbean brand new Anthem last year & same thing in their MDM. HORRIBLE !!!!! They got so many complaints , they were forced to change their menu. No reviews on that yet ??????? They may have all the Bells & Whistles , but nothing else & charge you a whole lot more. Cruisers I tell you if you want the most BANG for your buck go Carnival. We will never do Celebrity again !!!!!!!!!That's all I have to say. Happy Sailing
