We loved the Sun princess, so far one of my favourite ships but I prefer the midsize ships. We did a 20 night cruise and the nighttime activities were excellent with most being guest entertainers and there were usually 2 different shows a night, one in the theatre and the other in the schooner? bar. The movies under the stars was great with the newest movies. The service was great on this ship. We travelled with our 13 y.o with most the cruise being over school holidays and there was only a brother and sister in her age group on the ship. Drink packages are a reasonable price especially comparing to other lines with the kids package only $7.50 and that included milkshake from NZ ice creamery, cocktails and hot chocolate. Only negative we found was the ice-cream you had to pay for but that is only a very minor thing.
This cabin was on the same deck as the pool so you almost walked straight out your door into the pool area and bar. (If your a non smoker get the non smoking side). The buffet was directly above and after buffet closed you could here slight scraping of the furniture as they cleaned but didn't last long and it wasn't that late otherwise we didn't hear any noise from the buffet. The room was small but 3 of us managed fine for 20 nights as how much time do you spend in your room and the tv was pretty small. I loved this room and have in fact booked the exact same room for our next Sun Princess cruise :)
