A trip of a Mississippi Steam boat was an ambition we have had for a long time. WE struggled to arrange direct from the UK. An opportunity arose which we seized as it gave the opportunity to visit New Orleans and Memphis.
We found the state rooms very comfortable and well appointed, The food and wine was excellent. Although the dinning room was a little noise which mad it difficult having a conversation with fellow guests at meal times. Out waitress on several occasions was Krystin; we found that nothing was too much trouble and she was very attentive to our needs. All the staff from deck hands to the Management Team were very friendly and helpful and made the cruise an enjoyable experience.
We found the excursions interesting but not enough time to take advantage of the visits.
We would have liked more time at the Civil War visitor centre to view the exhibits and similarly we were requested to leave one of the Plantations so that we could visit "a gift shop" on the way back to the ship.
Very clean and comfortable. Spacious and well appointed.
