This is my 18th cruise, in which half have been with Royal Carribean. I love the big ships so I was excited to be on Harmony's first Carribean voyage. Since this was the inaugural voyage here and they lost many of their staff when they departed the Mediteraian area, some bumps were to be expected. The bars ran out of Miller Lite on the first night out and the last night. They ran out of pina colada mix. Sabors ran out of avocados the last night so no table side guacamole. It was obvious that many of the staff were new and had not learned their positions yet. The smarter ones were asking those of us who were cruising if we knew the answer when they did not. What bothered me most was how rude and disrespectful some of the bar staff and specialty restaurant staff were. I've laid these complaints out first in the hopes that an exec from RCI will read them. I am sure all the concerns I have mentioned will not surface in a few months from now. My five star rating came from my belief that the glitches will be ironed out in the next few cruises.

On to all the great and wonderful things about this ship. She is a beauty. If you have been on any of the other Oasis class ships you will be familiar with the layout. The staterooms are done in greys and teals. We had a balcony room on the 11 deck. It is the largest balcony I have ever had. There is a great deal of storage in the room also which I wasn't use to. There were two closets for hanging clothes, the standard four shelves within the one closet, two drawers below that, a separate dresser with five more drawers, and a mini fridge too!

The bathroom was normal sized for a ship. There are glass doors on the shower. This ship does not provide you with shampoo and conditioner so be prepared to bring your own.
