Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Queens Suite

This was our fifth cruise on Queen Victoria but the first in the Grills for several years. Queens Grill was an affordable price on this trip and it was part of a birthday treat.

We flew from Heathrow Airport on a British Airways scheduled flight leaving at 7.05 am. The flight was fine, I had been able to pre-book seats a few days earlier via Cunard and as we couldn't check in online we were able to join the very short queue for assistance rather than the long one for Baggage drop off.

Heathrow was a very smooth experience, Rome not so much. This was the last sailing from Rome for the season so I would have expected the Cunard experience to have been a bit better organised than it was. There was a bit of a scrum to drop off luggage with the porters and then we were told to go away for 30 minutes. Our flight was on time so I didn't really understand why they weren't ready for us !

Cabin Review

Queens Suite

First time in an aft Cabin on Deck 4, a little walk to everywhere but I would have this cabin again.

Loved watching the wake and we had sheltered sun on several days, even sailing across the Bay of Biscay
