This was a family cruise. The ship was great for kids and young adults. It was a Thanksgiving cruise so there were many large family groups. There were lines for everything! We waited 30 to 45 min for every buffet. My advice....seek the formal dining room whenever you can....that was decent. There is pizza all the time but you always have to wait at least 30 minutes for the pies to come out and if you miss it, you'll be waiting another 30 minutes. Food was ok....I think cruise ships these days want you to go to their specialty restaurants so the quality has gone down.

The two shows that were great were the country (even if you're not a fan) and the last variety show...awesome set design too.

Again, my only complaint was they couldn't handle the food crowd. Plenty of people in our group got sick for 24 hrs or more. They couldn't go to Turks and Caicos because of headwinds so we went to Nassau instead...disappointing but oh well.

Interior

Cabin 4E

Very nice for an inside. Bright and spacious with very adequate cabinets and closets...pleasantly surprised.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Just drove there but parked at GoPortCanaveral or something like that. It cost only $24 for the whole experience. It's a little further out (Doubletree Hotel parking lot). Safe and efficient.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Took a van ride through the city. Amber Cove is fresh and clean shops that Carnival built. Nice place but only for walking around

Nassau

Been there a lot but good port
