The ship was large but only felt crowded at peak times. The ship was very clean with no visible signs of rust or wear. The food was cruise average. The ports were a standard itinerary used by multiple cruise lines, nothing extra ordinary in fact a little too ordinary. Our cabin steward was excellent. Service in the dining rooms was good and the meals were timed perfectly. We had the dining package and ate at Le Bistro, Cagney's, Tappenyaki and Illusionarium. Le Bistro was just ok, the appetizers just ehh, the main course great, dessert not so great. Cagney's was the best, good all the way around (mushrooms just wow) truffle fries not what I expected and would get something else next time. Tappenyaki was great in my opinion and good in my wifes opinion. Illusionarium was worth it, good show (nothing you haven't seen in a magic show before but the tricks were well executed, the food was very good. Bar service was good as well. The one benefit of being a latitudes member that we enjoyed has been removed.....Ship pins.....My son and I have been collecting them and attaching them to our cruise hats for the past 4 years...well apparently a 2$ pin was too much for Norwegian to swallow so they discontinued them.. I would have paid for them just to have kept the tradition alive for my son who was very disappointed...I guess this means we are not tied to Norwegian anymore since we can go on any boat and NOT get a pin..Petty maybe but hey traditions are strong with us.

Cozumel is the first port I will mention because it was the worst. We have been there at least 5 times and this was the worst. The shops all have multiple people out front trying to drive you into their stores...They are getting very pushy and it is to the point that I will not exit the ship there ever again...Costa Maya we went to a private beach called Maya Chan ( paid in advanced), this place is a jewel and worth the money. We got rained on in Roatan, we went to Maya Key on a NCL excursion and if it were not for the rain it would have been great (still better than a sunny day in Cozumel). Belize we did not leave the port which is very small but the merchants are very nice.

Entertainment is not what we were use to with Norwegian. Burn the Floor was just average at best, I have seen better at High schools. Million Dollar quartet was excellent and would watch again. The farewell show was horrible....Loud does not equal good....Comedians focused on racially motivated jokes which to me are not funny and in poor taste which bummed me out because I love comedy. The theater itself is made for size medium people and I am a 3x so My shoulders were spilling over into both adjacent seats, I would say that was one of the bigger design flaws the ship had, the entire theater needed to be bigger to house the vast number of people that the ship holds. Overall it was a good trip and we all had a good time.
