Celebrity has been our cruise line of choice for some years. Our last cruise confirmed that cost saving is having an increasing effect on the Celebrity cruise experience. The speciality restaurants on the Infinity are in our opinion not special although the charge to use them increases.The ship ran out of light beer and Vodka and the entertainment has consistently been downgraded over recent years. The staff as always could not be more obliging and helpful although privately they will speak of their dissatisfaction at cost savings they see which reflects on their ability to serve the customer as they would like. Going forward my wife and I have a March cruise booked with Celebrity to the Far East We will certainly look at changing our cruise line for any other cruises we may take next year. In conclusion we used to consider Celebrity a five star cruise that sadly is no longer our opinion.
