This cruise was a disappointment.

We docked at Boston at 8am. This was our first stop so customs officers boarded for everybody to clear customs. An estimated time was allocated and we patiently waited for our call around 10.30. The call never came. We finally got off the ship at 2.30 in the afternoon . By that time we could only take a stroll as we had to be back on board at 4.30. Some passengers did not get off until 3.30.

There was no organisation of the queue for customs , it was a bun fight . Many people who had excursions missed them as the staff told them to join the very long queue. It turns out that lots of people ignored the allotted time , joined the queue and managed to have a good few hours in Boston. Most however did not.

Port Reviews

Boston

Don't book an excursion at this port if you have to clear customs.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Nothing at the port. Took a shuttle to Cocoa Beach.

New York (Manhattan)

Overnight in port so plenty of time for a show.

Southampton

Shopping centre within walking distance.
