Saw some nice sights and stopped for 90 minutes on a lovely beach

Fantastic tour, much better than other dolphin experiences we have been on in the past - out of 7 tours this cruise this was the best

Brilliant experience.  But oddly this tour was only available to book on the ship and not online

Good time, I drove around in the convoy and ended up at the Sandal's beach   But we only had 30 minutes to spend there

We took a taxi to Maho beach (airport beach). There is a brilliant bar called Sunset bar with all the flights times on display     This beach is well worth a visit

St. Maarten

Good points:

1, Embarkation was perfect, really quick and efficient 

2, Room (ocean view) was as expected and clean 

With only 2100 guests we found the queues were small

3, Guest areas - bars, casino and the restaurants were clean and well kept although the 1 main dining room could do with new furniture

Bar staff really friendly and remembered our names and drinks 

4, Cabin room staff were the best we have ever experienced on any ship, happy - smiling and do a great job 

5, The entertainment team very nice

Bad points:

1, The evening entertainment was generally poor, and short (2 good nights out of 10)

2, They have a man playing guitar in the centrum which seems to be exactly the same tune every day, by day 8 it began to grind, a lot

3, Only 1 included sit-down restaurant but the food was good, with good choice, but we did take advantage of the 5 day premium dining options for $105 each (Chops grille was brilliant, Giovanni's was ok-good) 

4, The WIFI is terrible!Overall we enjoyed our time on the Serenade, we met some lovely people and had a brilliant time, although we would certainly book on the Serenade again we have chosen independence of the seas (freedom class) for our cruise next year mainly due to more free restaurant choice and hopefully better evening entertainment.
