We picked this cruise (1) it was a cruise we wanted to really to go on and (2) it was the only one we found that was from Ft Lauderdale to LA. in the time frame that we could go. We stayed the night in Ft Lauderdale. Embarkation took 20 mins. and was really smooth. Our room was ready and we met Oliver our room steward. He took great care of our room the whole time. Great guy!
We went to most of the shows and really enjoyed them. What was really great was the fact they had a live band for their shows. And other cruisers were correct when they said to get to the shows at least 30 mins. early. The Theater filled up fast. My husband would play on his phone and I'd read (like a lot of folks) till the show would start.
Going through the canal was awsome! We went to the secret deck and watched it. The ports were all really nice. Most of them we just around. It was hot and humid in most of the ports. I could live with the hot being from Az. Humid not so much. Would I do it again? Maybe.
cabin was very spacious and clean. There was some noise near it but it was like having white noise. Sounded almost like a vacuum cleaner. Didn't bother us in the least. Would pick it again. Balcony was perfect for the UBD.
Since the stop was so short, we just got of the ship and walked around and checked things out.
We just got off the ship and walked around.
we took a taxi to the downtown area. I would recomend this. Lots of shopping and restaurants. a really nice walk along the ocean.
We stayed at the Homewood Suites. They have a nice breakfast and a Cocktail Hr.
would stay there again. Rooms were really nice and clean. They are remodeling them next year. They just got finished remodeling the main area. We didn't use the pool but our room overlooked it. The Hotel was really quiet,
