Our cruise experience was good but the ship is different to the point of not comfortable. Upon entering the stateroom there is a shower to the right with frosted glass doors and a sliding frosted glass door on the left containing the toilet. Then there is a curtain you can pull for privacy. The sink is the size of a turkey platter and only about 5 inches deep so I could not even rinse out my bathing suit in it. Also, it sits on the desk below the medicine cabinet. The lighting in the cabins is very dim. I did like the closet configuration.

The public venues such as the Atrium and the Cavern did not have enough seating for the events planned there. We arrived 45 minutes early to the Cavern and got a seat but the next time we arrived 30 minutes early and there were no seats, people were even sitting on the windowsills. Taste Restaurant is weirdly configured and if they seat you in the center around the piano (where I never heard anyone playing) your table is open to a three story atrium and quite noisy as Sheehans Irish Pub and the Casino are located on the floors directly above.

H20 Spice pool was so small it was not even worth getting into it and the other pools were immensely crowded. While the room steward was wonderful, service in the complimentary restaurants was very slow. Embarkation day was a disaster as we waited in line after line for almost 2 hours before finally boarding the ship. I have sailed on many Norwegian ships in the past but I will NEVER sail on this ship again and would not recommend it to anyone either.

The bathroom configuration provided no privacy for two friends travelling together. Wayne, room steward, made up for it though.
