My sister, brother and I live in three different corners of the USA, so it made a marvelous early Thanksgiving vacation to meet for the Ancient Cities and Holy Lands cruise November 6-20. Viking does everything with great style and consideration for their clientele, who tend to be well-traveled genteel English-speaking older people.

The Viking Sea was beautifully designed for comfort and pleasure, with areas throughout the ship to relax. The ship was kept very clean and security was excellent day and night.

Hand sanitizing stations were plentiful, and hot washcloths were given to passengers returning to the ship. We particularly enjoyed the pools and fitness center, as well as the

Cabin Veranda

Excellent layout and maintenance. Ideally, there would be a few more inches between the

End of the bed and the desk/wall, for two persons passing to the veranda, but we coped

easily. Nice to have breakfast on the veranda, especially those mornings we were sailing into a new port.
