Our 3rd Transatlantic round trip 1st after remastering . Ship still in excellent condition , lots of new carpets and upholstery gave a modern feel without losing charm of ship.
We had booked last minute trip at £949 pp which we thought was great price .We were allocated mid ship sheltered balcony stateroom on deck 4 and 8.30 pm dining which we prefer .As world club members got 135$ each free internet and found WIFI to be accessible from stateroom as well as other areas of ship . Room had flat screen wall mounted TV , decent selection of up to date films and tea/coffee making facilities . Tea/coffee and biscuits replenished daily .Sofa and cushions refurbished and very smart . From chatting to others not all Brittania cabins have been refurbished , think work is ongoing .
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip , ate mostly in Brittania restaurant , no complaints at all All the staff lovely and excellent service Pleased to see that refurbishment of Kings Court has made it much lighter, previously had avoided going in there but this time we had couple of snacks in there as we did in new Carthinia lounge, where we enjoyed the jazz band at lunchtime there. You can rake drinks from Kings Court into Carthinia if you don't want to pay for the coffee menu .Watched few shows in Royal Court and went to cinema couple of times .
