Sail Date: May 2009

We haven't been on this class ship since our first cruise, many years ago.  We really enjoyed the Imagination.  She is in great shape, clean, and looking good for her age.  This class is so much smaller and more intimate than the other classes we have sailed on recently.  We really enjoyed the smallness, and especially enjoyed the Serenity Deck.

We arrived a day early, flying into FLL and using SAS Transportation to Miami.  We were picked up quickly and were taken to our hotel in Miami with one other couple.  $15 per person is a great deal.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Port of Miami.  We have stayed here several times before, and have always had a good experience.  We checked in and found we were "Priority Club Members of the Day", which was cool.  We were upgraded to a room on the tenth floor with a great view of the port.  We also got vouchers for free breakfast the next day.

Cabin Review

We loved the location of our room, E200, an inside room on Empress Deck Aft.  We could go up the back stairway two flights to the adults-only Serenity, our favorite place on the ship.  We also had a great cabin steward who was pleasant and efficient.
