We chose to cruise the Beatrice because it had a great reputation and cruising down the Danube was supposed to be spectacular.Upon boarding the ship we were shown to our beautiful suite.We were not disappointed.The room and service were first class.The first day and a half were terrific.We were then informed that a lock in the river was broken and there was no way to cruise down the Danube.The answer the cruise ship had was to bus us to our dastinations.We did that one day[a three and a half hour ride each way]After that experience we decided to go to our final destination-Prague.Both Prague and Budapest were terrific and wonderful places to visit.Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.I would recommend it to everyone.Upon returning home we learned that Uniworld gave us half our river cruise money back I felt this was unfair since we did not cruise down the Danube.I tried to contact Uniworld to no avail and our travel agent got a run around.We are now trying to fight it thru American Express.Although it is a beautiful ship and the help on the ship were terrific the company itself is not very professional
