The ship is so big - but it never felt crowded. Embarkation was unbelievably fast. The room comfortable. The staff wonderful. We had classic dining which meant we had an assigned table at a certain time each night and our wait staff rotated with us through the 4 restaurants. Just a note here that if you are in American Icon you can order off the Silk menu (and vice versa) as well as the same for Chic and Grande. Food was outstanding.
Don't miss the I-fly experience - so much fun and was not scary at all. Roller skating and bumper cars also so much run. Also, if you are planning on eating lunch and/or dinner at the buffet, make sure you are there before 2:00 p.m. for lunch and before 9:00 p.m. for dinner -- they close the doors. There is a pizzeria on the 4th floor which is very good and is open from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 a.m. Next door is a place to get coffee, water and sandwiches. The Two70 serves really good salad (you tell them what you want) during lunch and the view from in there is fantastic.
Don't miss We Will Rock You -- it was great. Don't miss the 3D movies. I was able to get into the outdoor pool, indoor pool, adult only pool and Jacuzzi with no problem at all. Disembarkation was extremely easy and well organized. I'm a Diamond member so the amenities were great: a private area that serves coffee, capochino, expresso, and latte all day as well as free drinks at night with hot hors d'erves, desserts, and chocolate covered strawberries. They also put 3 free drinks on my card each night that I could use in any of the bars. Also, if you plan on going to the Friends of Bill W meeting, it is not listed in the daily paper -- check the board in the library for information of where and when this daily meeting will be held. No complaints about this ship at all except my usual -- the casino is too smoky! If you don't like the smell of the smoke, stay to the right when walking past the outdoor pool to the indoor pool.
Room was very, very nice. Was in a balcony room by myself and only had to pay for me (no double occupancy) so it was half the price my friends had paid for their rooms. Picture the regular room but take away the long corridor leading in and the couch and this is what this room for 1 was. Very comfortable and plenty of room.
