Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation was not smooth. Apparently the ship had to be sanitized before we could board and as a result, boarding itself was somewhat chaotic. The food venues that were open during embarkation were extremely crowded and it was difficult to find seats and get to the food. Disembarkation was not smooth either. Long lines and much delay compared to other times we have sailed (this was our 7th cruise). We were told that we would have priority boarding and disembarkation, but this did not seem to eventuate and frankly we could not tell that we were treated any differently than anyone else.

Our cabin was an upgraded balcony cabin and was pretty much like every other cabin we have had with the exception of the balcony. The balcony was large and was a great space to enjoy the sunsets and the like. Cabin service was very good- our steward did a fine job and seemed to go out of his way to please.

The food experience was rather varied. We found the dinner food in the main dining room to be the best we have had compared to any of our previous cruises. The ingredients seemed fresh the pasta was cooked al dente, just as it should be. The only complaint we had about dinner was the the food could have been hotter on occasion.
