Cabin: Ocean Suite

We were celebrating our 25 Wedding Anniversary, so we opted for an Ocean Suite on this cruise. We had priority boarding, and pretty much walked right onto the ship after parking the car. It was smooth, and quick. The Conquest is a little dated and could use some refreshment in their staterooms. We stayed in Cabin number 7262, and it had a lot of room. When you enter the suite there are two closets, and a makeup area that lead into the bathroom. The bathroom had double sinks, and a jetted tub/shower, both worked really well. The suite had a two twin beds pushed together, and room for a sofa and table. The entire room had windows, and a heavy glass door that led outside to the balcony. The balcony had four chairs and a small table.

We choose late dinning 8:00, because we wanted to take full advantage of the ports. I thought the food choices were good, and you can always order more than one appetizer, or entree. I felt the deserts were ok, and i don't usually eat desert but did try a few of them.

We spent a lot of time in the piano bar, and the entertainer was really good. His name was Billy Mac. He did an excellent melody of Frank Sinatra songs! He also did a good assortment of old/new arrangements. We enjoyed the more intimate setting around the piano. We didn't go to the 80's show but were told it was great.
