We have been on many cruises (Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Radisson) and this was by far the worst cruise experience we have ever had. It took us over 3 1/2 hours standing in lines just to get on the ship. The ship was supposed to leave at 2 but never left until after 4:30. The service by the wait staff in the dining rooms was non existent by all but one of the servers we had. I had meals that were so bad that I could not eat them and the server never asked if they could get something else. It was also disappointing that all of the pools on the ship were not fully functional. Getting off of the ship was another nightmare with thousands of people rushing to the deck to disembark at the same time. The lines were from one end of the ship to the other with no organization by the ship's staff. We almost missed out flight because the staff did nothing to organize or control the people.

I would encourage people to not sail on the Norwegian Epic as this cruise was a total disaster.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

Cabin had lots of storage which was nice, more than most ships but the sink was in the bedroom, the toilet was on one side of the cabin door and the shower was on the other side of the cabin door. Very strange set up. The cabin was so narrow that my husband and I could barely get around and we are small people.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Spent an entire day here, got off of the ship for an hour or two, beautiful island but not lots to do if you don't want to go on an excursion.

St. Thomas

The ship was supposed to leave at 2PM so everyone was on board but the ship never left port until after 4. This was the only port with great shopping and lots of beautiful beaches but we spent the least amount of time here. It was ver dissappointing. St Thomas has gotten very run down over the years, there has been no effort to improve the port experience by renovating the area. They need to take a look at what St Maarten has done over the years and follow their example.

Nassau

Nassau is an okay place to visit but would have preferred spending more time in St Thomas rather than a full day here. We got off of the ship and visited a beach for a photo shoot for a couple of hours and then spent the rest of the day on the ship.
