Chose this cruise because of the dates of vacation as well as to try the line. With as much advertising they do, I really was not impressed. Granted, we did get out of the vacation what we needed...peace and relaxation. I would have been greatly disappointed if we were going for an exciting time. I was not impressed with the food...it never changed in the Windkammmer and the times I went to the dining room, the options were not very interesting and the servers ok. Most of the crew were cordial, but did not really go out of their way. I guess maybe because we were in the minority, under 45 married no kids....We could not hear announcements in our state room. I am glad I brought some toiletries because the supply was limited. Had to request toilet tissue twice....really? Not going to take it home.....You had to watch what which way you went outside by kids zone splash zone. If it was windy and night, they do not turn the sprays off so you could get doused in your formal wear. For a large ship they needed a few more elevators....used the stairs most of the time, but there were many who did not have the option. On a good note, there were always chairs available outside to relax in whenever...the getting on and off was quick and efficient....exception being that no one directed to each gang way for those departing with own luggage. There was a line for the fat exit and no one using the forward exit. If you are a drinker, they do not skimp on the booze in drinks. I am not a shopper, but selection in shops was ok. We really did have a relaxing time and it was nice we did not have to fly. Not sure if I would choose this particular ship again.
It was a cabin. It seemed a lot of time no matter what the thermostat was set on daily. We could not hear announcements in state room. Limited toiletries.
Hot and really did not see anything we wanted to do.
Shopping...people very nice. Had a wonderful conversation with the Belize chapter of ASPA
Went to beach with another couple.
