A friend suggested Uniworld River Cruse Line, and boy was she right. We sailed out of the Basel area in Switzerland and ended up in Amsterdam. The ship was lovely and the staff amazing. They just could not do enough for you. Everything was included on this cruise, which was quite a change from buying drink packages and tour packages. The cruise was very well organized and there was always something to do. There was entertainment every afternoon and evening. The ship had a spa and indoor swimming pool. There was a fitness center, but it was very small. The food was very good, much better than my husband and I expected. Breakfast and lunch was basically buffet style, and dinner was sit down with a number of choices on the menu. There were hot and cold choices and very good variety. They picked us up and took us to the ship before the cruise started and brought us to the airport at the end of the cruise. Everything was included. I was amazed. We have two more river cruises booked with Uniworld. That is how happy we were with it.

Cabin Review

Outside Stateroom

Cabin 4

We got a very good deal on this cruise. The cabin was very nice, but did not have a view. I was surprised by the amount of storage the room had. The bathroom was small, but that seems to be an ongoing problem with cruises. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless. The television had more stations than I expected. Many more that we had on an Alaskan cruise that cost thousands more.
