We were very excited for this cruise....new ports, ship and great weather. However, we only found one staff member that was not only friendly, but attentive. And we made a point to find this waiter each day. Our housekeeper it appeared came in the room just once a day where in the past I was used to a clean-up during the day and a turn-down service in the evening. This seemed to offer nothing special or noticeable except the towel animals each day. The entertainment was okay. We enjoyed the adult comedy shows and the Miracle team that performed each evening was good, but not overly impressed with the entertainers. However, there were a few very good ones. Our dinner staff was very slow most nights and outside of the evening at the Steakhouse, I think we both felt we had mediocre meals each evening. It took forever to get drinks and many nights took a while just to get our meals started. We did find it interesting too that the "adult only Serenity pool" was packed each day and wondered why they don't make that an 18 and under pool for kids. It's close to the "baby pool" and slide. Although it does have cabanas and hammocks, it seemed overly crowded each day when the other pools didn't seem to compare except they had entertainment where obviously the Serenity did not. We did find that the live band "Lunchbox" was also very well attended, however, in the evenings, we were surprised to find children on the dance floor where you clearly had people looking to have "adult" fun. We love taking pictures, but the photographers seem to put you in non-natural positions and although they allowed for us to take photos in our natural happy/fun positions, they were not printed. We had an opportunity to utilize the spa during our cruise, but everything is very pricey in comparison with nothing significant to make you feel it's worth the cost. Overall, it was a needed and enjoyed vacation, but an "average" experience overall.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony 5th Deck

The cabin overall was fine. We love having a balcony to see things, enjoy coffee in the morning and a wine in the evening.
