We sail Celebrity Aqua Class exclusively and have always had a terrific experience on Solstice and Millennium class ships.
The good/great: dining in Qsine and Tuscan Grille and the elite breakfast in Tuscan Grille; location of the Ports in Boston and NYC; Aquamarine Duo (piano and violin) that performed almost nightly in the Ensemble Lounge (fantastic); food in the Ocean view cafe; flexibility to enjoy Elite evening cocktails in multiple locations throughout the ship.
Not up to the usual standards: Blu, room service food; entertainment in the main theatre. Blu only had the wonderful Bluberry pancakes a couple mornings, then they were 'out of blueberries', yet we noted there were blueberry pancakes regularly in Ocean View cafe.
Main complaint was related to the stateroom. The stateroom attendant was great, but the room itself was not relaxing. There was a strong vibration you felt when on the balcony, in the bed or on the couch for most of the trip, and the ceiling made a creaking noises, as well. Unfortunately, this was not limited to the several days when the seas were rough, so I'm not sure what the cause was. I should not have dismissed another cruise critic review that commented on the vibrations in this stateroom. Since we typically stay just two staterooms away on Solstice Class ships, I thought it must've been an unusual occurrence. Guess it's the room.
fantastic and convenient port location and incredible views of Manhattan upon arrival and leaving NYC. Wonderfully different way to experience NYC.
