We chose this cruise when I received a great past guest offer. This time we did a balcony which was the best decision ever, enjoyed being out on it all the time we were in our room. We chose deck 7 in middle which was very comfortable location and felt very little of the ship movement other than your typical. We went to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta as ports from long beach. Cabin steward Eva was amazing, met our every need daily. Sandro our dinner waiter was amazing too, we saw him at other locations during day and he always greeted us. You have to have the melting cake.....Cabins were perfect size for us as we spent most time around the ship during the day and evenings.

Entertainment was great. Shows were spot on and staff was talented. We did the behind the fun tour this cruise and loved it, I highly recommend it. You meet the captain on the bridge, engine control room, laundry, crew dining and lounge, backstage areas, galley, steak house and storage areas. All the crew we met on the tour told us so much about the ship and items we are all curious about. Jill our guide was amazing. You also get many goodies on the tour and after in your cabin.

The food in the steak house was well worth it. We went twice and highly recommend doing it at least one on a cruise. Prime cuts of meet in a private setting with great staff. The chef makes sure you are well treated up there. Its in the smoke stack portion on deck 10 and has a glass ceiling to it. Only steak house like that we were told in the fleet.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Cabin was normal cruise cabin with a balcony. Plenty of storage, room in bathroom, always clean and ready for us thanks to our steward Eva. Only item we were hoping for was a lounger on the balcony. While it had two chairs and small table. We would have loved at least one lounger to lie down on while out there reading. The refrigerator was a great plus on this boat. We pre ordered bottled water that was waiting in our cabin for us for the week.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Lots to do and see. Shopping all over and many bars and local places to eat. Just not us we found. Prices seemed higher than other ports on basic gift items. Very much the party port on this cruise.
