My trip on Avalon Vista was a dream come true. I have sailed on dozens of ocean cruises, but this was my first river cruise. I was amazed at how many things were complimentary. Free excursions in every port - with excellent guides and sights. Free soft drinks, beer, or wine with meals, free wi-fi, free wine tasting, free beer tasting. Complimentary coffee, tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate and cookies or pastries 24/7.

I am lalso loved the size of the vessel (160 passengers). The food was excellent, with a focus on regional specialties. The crew were friendly and attentive. The Cruise Director was very well-organized. This cruise included hotel stays at beginning (2 nights in Budapest) and the end (3 nights in Prague). The transitions were handled very smoothly, and the Cruise Director remained with us throughout the 13 days. It was wonderful to have more time in these special cities.
