Had a hiccup first night in dining room. Once we expressed our discontent, the maitre'd fixed everything and we had the best meals and table the rest of the cruise. The wait staff was outstanding as well as our room steward. The bartender at the Martini Bar was so entertaining. He is a keeper. He even made a special martini for my friend and called it the Ronald. Delicious. The nightly entertainment was good. Really nothing to complain about on the ship other than the ports. We didn't feel very safe in Columbia, Costa Rica or Panama. The port areas are not where you want to hang around. Travelled with a few friends and they took a couple of excursions off the boat and saved a lot of money. For instance, in Costa Rica they went zip lining for $60 off the ship. They loved it. In Georgetown they went swimming with the sting rays and snorkeling for $30. Excursions on the ship were a lot more money. All the staff were friendly and the food was wonderful in all the restaurants. Sushi in the specialty restaurant was so fresh and good!
Cabin steward was excellent and always friendly. TV was disappointing . Unless you watch news or sports, nothing else on it. Loved the balcony.
Not a good place to walk around. In most of the ports they warn you to take off all your jewelry and be extremely careful when walking around.
We took a cab to the shopping mall. Not a lot to see or do in the port and the mall was a little creepy.
Took a cab into the old town. I had been there before a few years ago. It was really deteriorated. Not nearly as nice as it once was but there isn't much to do in Cartegena.
Been here many times. Appreciate the cleanliness and it was nice to finally feel a little "safe" while walking around the port area.
Could have spent a couple of days here. Snorkels and shopped.
