I felt like we had a 5-star hotel and restaurant following us from city to city. The views were breathtaking. We arrived in Amsterdam a day early to get used to the time change and explored the city and the Anne Frank Museum. You need to get tickets for this museum a couple months in advance. They were available on-line. We particularly enjoyed being in multiple countries. Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland. The city tours were great and we had great weather all week. The breakfast, lunch and dinners aboard ship were amazing. At dinner you never had to ask for more wine, they always kept your wine glass full. Very comfortable lounges with a bar and coffee or snacks available. The musician, Jimmy, was very talented and entertaining in the lounge. Our cabin was very large and elegant for a river cruise ship. The floor to ceiling and wall to wall windows provided a fantastic view. The best views were of the Rhine gorge with all the castles.
