We chose this cruise as we had enjoyed our first cruise on board the Reflection a year previous. Ironically the Reflection was alongside us in Barcelona , which brought back happy memories. We knew the cabin would be well appointed with an attentive steward to assist us. The excellent crew member who allocated my wife and I to a table for 2 each evening was brilliant, We prefer to eat at 19.00 - 20.00, but on this occasion we went to see a show in the Theatre at 19.00 and then went into the main restaurant at 20.00. The shows were usually of a very good standard and this was a great start for the evening. The meals were very good and as the waiters were so happy to ensure you had exactly what you wanted and the quality was up there with great restaurants in London. The only downside was the excessive charges for dining in the Specialist restaurants. The Ports were ideally chosen allowing you to visit places of interest, such as Mount Etna, Sorento and the wonderful Florence. We deliberately chose early October in order not to have children on board, and this proved to be a great time to holiday.
A very good bathroom, with toiletries provided.
A lovely City, with bags of histry
A stunning journey around Ajjaccio
It was wonderful, unfortunately Sundays are a day to avoid as huge queues for museums and cathedral
Didn`t have time to do anything due to flight times
Walked into town which is very easy, the streets are steeped in history and well worth just being there.
Been before,
Been before stayed on ship as the heavens opened
Walked into town, which is really quite poor. Went to Rome last year
