It was our honeymoon cruise and first thought when seeing the interior of the ship.. It looked like a casino interior with Americana that vomited everywhere. Gold painted eagles on every column in the elevator waiting areas, busts of US presidents and dignitaries all over the walls. The theme colors are red white and blue and the floor and walls are US flags. The dining rooms have the presidents busts everywhere. Lincoln room, Washington room etc... It is way over the top and a rather cheesy style interior. The cabin balcony suite was very nice. It came with a private balcony that was wonderful. The turn down service was amazing and the crew remembered our first names. That in itself is truly amazing. All the crew was helpful and friendly. They are the best the ship has to offer truly. Now, onto food... It is everywhere and all the time. It isn't bad, but wasn't great either. Guy Fieri's Burger 'Joint' is pretty good. It's greasy spoon type food but really good. The buffet line is ok but not the best. One bad thing about them both, they do not have napkins. They re-use old car rags. You know those red ones that you use for your car's oil and detailing? Yes, they use those and the odor of them is evident of that re-use. Upstairs is the BBQ but it isn't really BBQ, it is baked chicken with BBQ spices and oven slow cooked beef and pork. It tastes better than the buffet and a good alternate to Guy's burgers. We didn't try the tacos, but wish we had, they looked great! The restaurant food tasted more like American fast food. It was not memorable and the staff at times could not get the bill correct, but the food was better at the buffet. Overall the food experience was good, not bad, not great, average and you won't miss anything by skipping the restaurants going to the taco stand or buffet line. Onto drinks... Seemingly onboard, it is very hard to find someone who can make a great drink that isn't to sugary. The first drink we had was some cocktail given to us after embarking, it was so bad, I spit it out and could not drink it. It was like drinking pure liquid sugar. Later went the frogs bar out by the pool.. Waiting on a bartender whom was ignoring people and myself, when no one was there. Waited 10mins and left without being served and went to the casino bar and the service was great but how hard is it to make a simple Maker's and Coke? It was more watered down then anything. The rest of the cruise I stuck with Blue Moon beer. However, I heard the bar down the hall from the casino and coffee shop is better and people loved it there. Morning Coffee... Great Java stands that do Starbuck-ish type of coffee but no Starbucks. Onboard entertainment was average. Nothing spectacular. Port of call Freeport was a nice getaway. Nassau was far better The night ending with the live coverage of the US presidential election on tv. Overall experience, it was a good getaway. Next time, I'll pick a better cruise line.

Could be better, could be worse.

The buffet line is ok but not the best.

One bad thing about them both, they do not have napkins.

Nassau was far better

The night ending with the live coverage of the US presidential election on tv.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite
Cabin OS 7238
Very nice room. The beds are two twins put together as a queen and very firm. A bit uncomfortable and takes a while to get use to. The TV is a digital one on an analog connection so there is no HD. The bathtub is a jacuzzi tub, but was very small and fit for a person of small stature not for people 5ft 9i or taller. However, we were able to take showers without any issues.
