we were cruising to get a quick getaway without killing our budget, since this was not planned. We joined family members who invited us to join them, thus we grabbed an inside room and took off. We had a great time on a great ship (3rd time on Regal)! I believe the new bedding has been installed on Regal because our bed was OUTSTANDING! We were just on Regal in February and I don't remember the bed being like this. ( it could have been the same, we just did not notice it until this cruise) My DW wants to buy one (just my luck).

Crown grill was great again as usual. Sabatini's was a total disappointment. Service was very shoddy if non existent. Dirty plates left on table for over 30 minutes , no one came around to even mention to, food came late and cold, no melted butter ever showed up (3 way lobster with no butter?, again no one to ask. 2.5 hrs later we left without even being asked about desert. There were 6 of us for 6:30 seating and the place was not even close to 1/2 full. I could not imagine what it would be like with more people there. When we commented "nicely" about service, we were told "...6 people what do you expect, it is hard...." okay thanks anyway and we left, good luck.

Interior

Cabin IB

Inside room for a change just to get on board, we usally are in a balcony.

Inside was just fine, roomy, with more storage area then we need or used.

previous comments about noise on Meridian deck were accurate. About 11:30 every nite there was considerable noise from above or the side (not sure) but it was the same every nite.

we were so busy we rarely were in our room this cruise so it fit our needs.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

went to Royal Palms, reserved a Beach Cabana on-line before we left.

Beach and facilities were great, had a great time. Food and beverages were good and priced as expected, you ARE in Grand Cayman, be prepared. Note: cabana cost is paid on your food and beverage bill when you leave, tips for all is included in bill.

Costa Maya

been there done that, strolled out for 30 minutes to but trinkets for Grandkids and returned to ship

Cozumel

Returned to Mr. Santos for another great time.

Recommend highly.Food and drinks kept coming. If you do this all inclusive, don't make the mistake of scheduling a Specialty restaurant that nite on the ship, because your going to cancel.
