Carnival Valor is probably a great cruise ship for first time cruisers, but I'm not sure if it will impress people who aren't interested in the party atmosphere, have been on a cruise before, or sailed lines besides Carnival. There were more opportunities to make things right and for the most part Carnival dropped the ball.

Pros

-The Dining Room was amazing. The food was great, the service was great, waiters seemed very interested in you, and they seemed to be trying hard

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Cabin was amazing. Had plenty of balcony and room space. Would recommend this room to anyone.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Went to the British Colonial Hilton and I can't recommend this property enough. We paid $65 at the resort ($60 online), but it included so much that it was very worthwhile. For that price you get pool access, beach loungers, umbrella use, snorkel use, watercraft use (kayaking I believe), and a $40 resort credit. The resort credit can be used on food or drinks. Considering there's food on the cruise I used mine towards drinks, which aren't terrible if you're drinking the Bahamian Beer at $5.75 each.
