Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was the first sailing out of Port Canaveral for the Oasis. The Oasis is beautiful, spacious, and even with a full load of passengers, the ship did not seem crowded. The crew is trying harder than ever to make you feel special. The casino staff, bar staff, and pool staff are super friendly. They really get to know you and are very helpful. My only complaints are the low quality of food in the dining room, and why isn't the ice cream machine open 24 hours a day. Soft serve ice cream for 4 hours per day on a ship with 6,000 people is not cool. The ice show is amazing. Cats was so weird that we couldn't make it through the first 30 minutes. Our balcony was very nice, and we had plenty of privacy. One word of warning, if you try during an off time, be prepared to be bombarded by very rude old people.

Port Reviews

Labadee

This usually a great stop, unfortunately it was pouring down rain.

Falmouth

We don't care for this stop, the locals are rude and they will not bargain.

Cozumel

We take a cab downtown and rent a car from Margarita at Rentadora Isis for only $30 including insurance instead of $140 at the port. Then we go to Playa Azul to enjoy the beautiful water and the locally priced cantina.
