The Viking Sea crew treated us exceptionally well. The restaurants and food were very good. We especially liked the choices that the World Cafe offered. I discovered that early mornings in the Explorers Lounge were relaxing and a great place for quiet reading time. We loved all the ports of call, but time management was important once we got to the ultimate destination after the bus shuttles. The options for the shore excursions were varied and fit our desires. The spa area was very enjoyable, with its combination of heat, steam and ice room. Based on what we could tell, the spa was underutilized by passengers. Sunday Night Movies and Dancing under the Stars in the pool area were fun treats. Cruising through the Straight of Messina and the morning entrance into the Port of Venice were both memorable. All in all, it was the trip of a lifetime.....until our next trip of a lifetime!!
