UNIWORLD lacked the skills to resolve problems and lacked concern for safety. Cabin was exceptionally small, inadequate space between the toilet and shower. Lost electric in cabin for 3 days - no air, no recharging electronics, hearing aids etc. due to condensation on the sliding door which caused an electrical short, not once but 3 times! When brought to the attention of the Captain and other Engineers, the Captain said he was not in charge of resolving the issue and lacked concern for our discomfort and the inconveniences we experienced. If the Captain isn't in charge of the safety of his passengers then who is? On the positive side the food and wait staff were exceptional and worked relentlessly to satisfy the guests, common areas were clean, entertainment nothing exceptional. Shore excursions were interesting and at a good pace, guides were very knowledgeable. Upon our return, we contacted customer service at UNIWORLD. They have offered us a "credit" towards a future UNIWORLD cruise to somehow compensate for the issues we faced. We lost the ability to hear people converse, lost the ability to communicate with our family, we lost the ability to recharge various electronics ... we WOULD NOT recommend cruising with UNIWORLD nor do we intend to throw good money towards a company that fails to put the safety of their passengers first!

Stateroom with French Balcony

Cabin was exceptionally small for the price you pay. Inadequate space between the toilet and shower. Little space between the french balcony and the bed. Far too cramped with the small table and 2 chairs.
