This is my 8th cruise (RCCL, NCL and Celebrity) but 1st with Carnival. I am not a picky person and believe a vacation is what you make it. I mean really how bad can it be right? Pretty bad.

Let me start with the good because there were some standouts –

1.) Cabin layout - My husband and I had our two younger (7 and 9) children in the cabin with us. We opted for a balcony. Our cabin had a Pullman (pull down from ceiling) and couch that coverted to a twin. The layout was great. My husband and I were still able to have the two twins pushed together for our bed, while still utilizing the Pullman with the ladder. It never felt too crowded. And the room was clean. I did bring air freshener just in case but there was no smell. We were on deck 6.
