This is a lovely ship with good food, nice staff and great entertainment. The worst part was the cabin. Amazingly there is no bathroom! The sink is in the bedroom and there is a toilet cubicle and separate shower cubic, behind the cabin door. If you need any privacy there is a curtain to separate the 2 cubicles from the rest of the cabin. So if someone gets up in the night to use the loo they have to put the light on to wash their hands in the cabin! The lighting is hopeless too, the only way I could do my make up was to stand in the shower and balance a small mirror and a make up bag.Our hairdryer only blew cool air and the steward said that it couldn't be changed, this resulted in me not using the pool because it then took so long to dry my hair.
Being vegetarian I found that although the food was good, there was very little choice. The main veggie course in the Taste restaurant one evening was soup. O Sheens had no veggie option and the buffet was often limited, especially at lunchtime.
The entertainment was excellent, but it ran out before the end of the cruise resulting in us watching one show 3 times. This wasn't really a problem as it was the "Barricade Boys" who were amazing. Priscilla, burn the floor, cirque and howl at the moon were wonderful, as were 4ever and the hypnotist. We didn't like the American comedian at all.
What a truly dreadful design. No privacy, awful lighting, a sink in the bedroom and a curtain to separate the shower and loo from the cabin.Hairdryer which blows only cool air. I can't imagine how any sane human being could come up with suit an appalling design, I've never seen anything like it on any cruise ship.
