Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We booked this cruise as we have a lot of time off work and thought it would be nice to travel across the Atlantic and visit some Caribbean islands before having a few days in Florida before home. It was out first cruise.

Checkin was really easy at Southampton, although there were very long queues.

The ship was big. Very big, but we knew this and there are lots of things to do on board. We booked an outside cabin as that is all that was left. We would have preferred a balcony, but the outside room was fine. It was on deck two towards the rear of the ship. No noise at all during the night. Very comfortable, clean and great views out to sea. Being low down meant we were quite close to the water and I liked this. The crossing was very smooth and we didn't hardly feel the ship moving at all. Some days, it looked liked it was the sea that was moving and not us. Very smooth.
