Pros: Well-appointed cabins for small room size / Waking up in a different port four mornings in a row / Very clean / Hardworking, friendly support staff / Able to find secluded spots away from the crowds despite ship's large size.Cons: Additional costs for MANY things which quickly add up / Subpar food in taste and variety / Assigned seating with strangers at dinner / Lots of waiting in lines / Smoking permitted in many areas. CABINS The balcony staterooms were well-appointed for the limited space guests are given. Having a balcony made the room seem larger; however, it was difficult to enjoy the balcony often since there were smokers on both sides. The cigarette smoke wafted onto our balcony and even into our stateroom if we left the door open to get some "fresh" air. The room was extremely clean and well-maintained as housekeeping and our stateroom attendant constantly kept working and cleaning. Yes, the bathrooms are miniscule!

FOOD Those expecting gourmet food on FOS will be disappointed as food is mass-produced for more than 3,000 people. I've had better meals at Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, and even T.G.I. Fridays as far as taste and variety is concerned. The main dining hall consists of assigned tables at specific times only. Because of this, my husband and I ate at the Windjammer Cafe often, which is the ship's buffet-style restaurant with amazing views. It should be noted that the dining staff employees were wonderfully friendly and efficient.

PORTS Labadee, Haiti This is RCI's private beach/resort area and it is gorgeous and clean. The beach was beautiful, the hammocks were aplenty, and FOS employees catered the food onto the island. Unlike some reviewers, I did not find the vendors to be pushy or rude and the prices for souvenirs were quite inexpensive. As a parting note, guests must be tendered to the island so there were lines to get onto the smaller boats (packed like sardines) to and from.
