We were lucky enough to get a 2 for 1 deal with our cruise, so jumped at the opportunity. THis was our 6 th cruise but first with MSC. We have previously cruised on Royal Carribbean and Carnival. Our first impression was that it was a lovely ship with some quirky and confusing aspects. Accessing restaurants and public areas was like trying to navigate a maze.

The safety drill was a very chaotic affair, with many people(including us) not knowing where to go. INteresting that many passengers choose not to attend the mandatory drill. UNfortunately the cruise was completely full. On the days when the dining rooms were closed navigating a table in the buffet was near impossible. Chaos also reigned in the pool areas where there were not nearly enough deck chairs for everyone.

The dining room experience was pleasant with helpful staff. THe food was often near cold when served and lacked variety. Being an Italian ship I was hoping for an extensive And authentic Italian experience.
