It has now been about 4 weeks since we arrived back home after our wonderful cruise on the Scenic Pearl from Basil to Amsterdam, starting with an overnight stay at the luxurious Hotel Schweizerhof in Zurich. It all seems like a dream now, but we have never been so spoilt, or fed so much wonderful food, or seen so many incredible places that we would not otherwise have seen, as we were on our Scenic cruise. Marian kept our cabin absolutely spotless, and we loved seeing the little figures made from towels on the bed each day. Haris our butler was charming, and although we didn't use his services as much as we could have, we really enjoyed our early morning cup of tea in our cabin, along with his cheery morning greetings, each day. Frank Riapos is a great cruise director, he was always friendly, approachable, and helpful, and kept everything running smoothly, even when plans needed to be changed through no fault of his own. He really goes "the second mile". It was a special time for us as we had been travelling throughout England for some weeks previously, watching our budget very carefully, so it was great to finally board the ship, knowing we wouldn't need to worry about finances, or finding our way around, as everything was taken care of in the initial price. It really was a wonderful way to finish our "holiday of a lifetime" and left us feeling that if circumstances permitted we would love to travel with Scenic again, to explore another part o the world. Thank you Scenic for a truly wonderful experience that will stay in our memories and our hearts forever.
