First off, the good news. Incredible itinerary with every port delivering an unforgettable experience. The bad news is atrocious food, brown water in the cabins for many days, and not much to do on sea days. We are not that fussy- we're more concerned about itinerary than almost anything else. But with food quality highlighted by groaning warming dishes heaped with goop, there is a limit. Many people we met never went to the sit down dinners because they felt the menus were uninspired and the food quality not worth the effort. We would go to the Lido session first, eat what appeared to be healthy choices and take our chances with the dining room. For us, the opportunity to meet people from other parts of the world is important (over 50 countries!), so we were there for the company, not the food. The ship is pedestrian in design- clean, a bit rusty, and ready to be pedaled off. Having been on many other lines, this was a big disappointment. Entertainment was okay, not unusual for a cruise. They have cut a lot of corners. No flowers, no waiter shows, bits of lobster here and there, no animal towels in the rooms- and it shows. The staff was great and people tried very hard to please. Bottom line: the ports were great, the ship not so much.
Decent size, remote didn't work but told it did by the staff. Not so- new batteries would have been a fix.
